I can’t say enough good things about this place! I had Cathi Yelvington as my physical therapist and she was so patient and kind with me as I have severe anxiety, especially with any kind of pelvic exams. I was diagnosed with LAS, and was in a tremendous amount of pain. I was a very active runner and paddle boarder prior to my onset of symptoms, and had been unable to do either for several months. 3 months of treatment here with Ms. Cathi, and I have my life back! I am forever grateful to this place! Everyone at this office, including the front desk girls are just wonderful! Thank you Smart Body, and Cathi for everything! You ladies are miracle workers!

I have been going to Smart body off and on for awhile now. I trust them with my care always! Laura the owner is and has been my PT. I have, many years now suffered medical problems. Resulting in whole body reconditioning. I suffer also with alignment issues and pelvic floor disfunction. I came to them weak and my spirits low. The staff has always treated like I mattered and Laura has always been a positive effect on my attitude and mind. She helps me to keep moving forward in being strong and not give up! It’s been a roller coaster has for my health. But I have just recently returned back to Smart body. This place is amazing! I had horrible stomach issues and using the restroom was very difficult to put it nicely. I was undiagnosed for over a year. Loaded up on meds that didn’t work. I was finally diagnosed with pelvic floor Dyssynergia and referred to Smart Bodies. I live in Georgia so had to travel for appointments. It was beyond worth it!! I thank God everyday I was sent here. The therapy was intense but everyone I worked with was extremely kind and understanding. I was in a very dark place but they continued to help me stay positive and to keep going. Today I am so happy and completely off all my meds and have little to no symptoms. This place was an absolute blessing!!

Smart Body Physical Therapy is amazing. Cathy and the team got me back to normal about 3 months of unanswered pain I was finally diagnosed with pelvic spasm and quickly seen by their team. After 3 months of therapy I feel amazing and have come a long way. They are amazing and I definitely plan on coming back when the time comes and I’m pregnant. Love them and will miss them a lot

I had been having UTI symptoms and pressure for months with no relief. My urologist sent me for pelvic floor physical therapy, which I didn't even realize was a thing. I've been working with Norelle for months now and omg - ALL of my symptoms are gone!! She actually listened to my concerns and made me feel immediately comfortable. She worked with me to strengthen muscles I didn't know I had and really got me back to living my best life! The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable! Would definitely recommend to anyone needing relief!

I went to Smartbody for my physical therapy rehab following my Prostatectomy. I met with Dr. Sara Sohn, DPT, and she set up a program for me, working with her directly, and also with Alex Zackey, and Megan, Physical Therapists, utilizing Pelvic Floor Exercises, Muscle contraction display, Bio-Feedback, and Electrical stimulation of Pelvic Floor muscles. I chose Smartbody because they specialize in Pelvic Floor Rehab, and drove an extra 15 minutes each way to get there. Everyone, including clerical staff, was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I was originally scheduled for 2 visits per week for 8 weeks, but after a few visits, we agreed that one visit per week was enough, and then I graduated within a few more weeks. I still have my exercise app to continue my strengthening regimen, and Dr. Sara encouraged me to contact her any time if needed for questions or advice in the future. I would not think of going to any other Physical Therapy clinic and heartily recommend Smartbody to anyone in need of pelvic floor rehab. I cannot comment on any other kind of rehab needs, but can only assume that their other services are just as good.

Great experience at Smart Body! My daughter was treated for a knee injury at the beginning of summer and after a few weeks of therapy and continued practice of at home exercises she has fully recovered! Laura was very knowledgeable in explaining to my daughter how strengthening certain muscles would help improve her injury as well as prevent future problems and improve her play on the volleyball court. Highly recommend their services!

Experience at smart body was ok until I was completely lied to, by both therapists and front desk staff, about what my insurance covers for my visit. Now they're billing me 300 dollars. I will not be returning.

Laura is so knowledgeable and compassionate . She totally knows her stuff and helped me to see light at the end of the tunnel. One thing I really love about Laura is her willingness to teach me how to do physical therapy on my own and take charge of my own healing. She's honestly the best therapist who I've ever seen.

Great place. Sara was my PT and did a great job of making me feel comfortable and that she actually cared about me getting better. The office staff was 10/10 - Asia and Jeannie especially stick out as being very friendly and willing to help any way they could. Wait times in the office were extremely short (in the three months I went there I think my longest wait was about 10 minutes), and most importantly going there actually did help with many of the issues I was having. Highly recommend to anyone, male or female.

I wasn't happy with my first 3 intial visits and when they called me to make my next one I explained that I wasn't satisfied with the services. They called me back the next day and asked me to come back and to try the owner as my theripist instead and that maybe we weren't a good match. I was up to doing that until I suggested that for my time wasted that they only charge my insurace company for the make up visits and not be require me to pay my $40 copay again for the next 3 visits, they wouldn't do it. I made comment to them that if I fixed their car and they weren't happy with the repairs being done would you be willing to pay me again for fixing it right the second time. They said this was different. Yes it was as I was still allowing them to get paid through my insurance and an auto repair would have got nothing. I didn't think I was asking for that much. I couldn't believe what I was hearing as their whole business is based on word of mouth referrals. Do you mean that it is more important to you to get my $40 then it is to get nothing at all, lose a customer and get a bad review. She hung up on me. I later learned at my next doctor's visit who referred me to them, that they called him to try and save face. He said I had no idea what they were even talking about as you never mentioned this to me. I guess they were afraid of losing a referral too. Follow up - They came back after my review telling me it is against the law to not charge a copay. I learned a long time ago to follow through on anything that involves money because people will tell you anything to get out of having to refund your money. So did just that, I contacted the insurance regulatorys office to confirm that fact. They were only telling me the half truth. YES it is against the law to wave copays as a practice to lurer customers in from someone going to another doctor because your cheaper by not charging copays. It is not against the law to wave a copay under special circumstances including poor customer service as you already paid your copay the first time and your compensating the customer for poor service. They admitted it to me it wasnt good service they just didnt want to pay by proving it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Office is very unprofessional! My first appointment was beginning of May for a tilted pelvis. I was taken in the back for my PT to come speak with me. I waited 45 minutes for her! 1st flag.. 2nd was I called on 9th to cancel future appointments because I had graduation and family in, no one answered (surprise surprise) so I left a voice mail stating I was canceling and would call back when I could make time. I called back Monday after that week and 3rd flag no one answered AGAIN! final flag was they sent a bill for 2 no call no shows. Um, no!

I would recommend Smartbody. They were very professional and nice. I went after having pelvic surgery and they helped me recover to a better state I was in than before my surgery. Dr Sara Sohn was warm and friendly. She treated me well and helped me to not feel embarrassed about anything. Her and her staff even taught me diet and nutrition in such a way to help with my pelvic floor issues. The front desk handled my billing and insurance to my satisfaction. They were transparent about what wasn't covered by my insurance ahead of time. Thanks Smartbody for helping me feel better than I thought I could!

I can't say enough good things about Laura Bunso. She is very knowledgeable, insightful and hard-working. A 16-visit intensive physical therapy course resulted in such significant improvement, that I didn't think was ever possible. Thanks to Laura, I now know how to do the Kegel exercises correctly and can actually use them to improve pelvic floor strength. She also has a wonderful team working for her - everyone was very friendly and professional.

I'm grateful for their high quality of care. I know I'll have a higher quality of life when physical therapy is neoeded as preventative care with diagnoses that are chronic in nature. They use the Healigo app if I want a paperless option--which I LOVE. I have my exercises wherever I go (I don't always perform where my handouts are). The app lets me communicate how I'm doing on my exercises, reminds me if I desire, etc. The therapists are knowledgable about my genetic disorders and it informs a unique program. They always seek more knowledge and have never risk hurting me. They stay abreast on the latest chronic pain research and I've been surprised by how applying to therapy had immediate, positive impact. The culture is positive and affirming. I often feel weak, as though my body is on a steady decline. They are always--with data--encourage and remind me that I am consistently making progress and am strong. They work as a team and have appointments available. No matter the surprises my body has in store next, Laura and the SmartBody team has always accurately and professionally helped me overcome each challenge.

I'm a disabled veteran who had multiple issues that needed work. By far the worst were the shoulders which both ended up needing surgical treatment and multiple screws. After working with Laura's staff I was able to rebuild a physical foundation that allowed me to get back to some semblance of physical activity. Laura and her staff are extremely knowledgeable and have helped me when others couldn't diagnose me. I had stress fractures in both feet and went to many doctors without a diagnosis for two years. After one visit with Laura, she listened to my symptoms, and told me it sounded like I had stress fractures. She was right. It was a long 6-8 months of recovery with a podiatrist and then I went to see Laura for my PT. She has since seen me for a sprained ankle, back pain, and a tailbone injury.
